Astec Industries Debuts RX-405 Cold Planer at CONEXPO 2023

      Astec Industries debuted its newest asphalt cold planer at CONEXPO-CON/AGG in Las Vegas, Nevada. The versatile RX-405 milling machine is ideal for contractors who need a smaller cold planer that offers versatility and flexibility in a variety of applications. With the addition of the RX-405, Astec’s mills now range from 2 feet to 13 feet in cut width.    Kyle Neisen, product director for Astec, says, “We're excited to offer the RX-405 so that all contractors can benefit from the Astec lineup. Russell Sheaffer named AED Board Director at Large

    Road Machinery & Supplies Co. President, Russell Sheaffer was named Director at Large of the Associated Equipment Directors (AED) Board. His nomination was approved by the AED Board in December 2022, and he will serve a three-year term.   As Director at Large, Sheaffer will be assist in developing strategies to support AED’s membership and establish legislative priorities that serve to benefit the industry. “Road Machinery & Supplies Co. has been a longtime member and strong supporter of AED. I am honored to accept this role, and I look forward to serving on the board of an association that plays such a vital role in the success of our industry. It’s our ability to speak with one unified voice as an industry that makes AED such a valuable resource to its members.
