Close Out 2020 With a Tax Break

Image
As 2020 comes to a close, consider purchasing a Komatsu machine from Road Machinery & Supplies Co. to take advantage of Section 179. By purchasing a machine before December 31st, you can be eligible for deduction of up to $1,000,000 and a 100% bonus depreciation after write-off. Section 179 of the IRS tax code allows businesses to deduct the full purchase price of qualifying equipment and/or software purchased or financed during the tax year as opposed to writing off smaller percentage of the cost over multiple years. It is an incentive created by the U.S. Government to encourage small businesses to purchase equipment while also investing in themselves.  In 2020, business that purchase a new or used machine can write off the entire cost of the machine during the current tax year up to a limit of $1,000,000.
