Finding creative solutions for customers is a shared priority for Meyer Contracting and RMS

Completing projects requires more than manpower and diesel fuel. Every job site poses unique obstacles that must be dealt with. Some of the solutions are as simple as adding a machine to the fleet, but others require real ingenuity. The constant challenge to provide those solutions for its customers is what drives Meyer Contracting Inc. VIDEO: Meyer Contracting uses iMC excavators to boost efficiency “Once you understand the customer’s needs — and then meet them — you’ll have a successful project and a satisfied customer,” said President and Chief Operating Officer Verlyn Schoep. “In order to do that, we adopt our clients’ values and make them extremely important to us.”   Those values change with each project. Belt winder addition will improve turnaround times for aggregate customers

The production and efficiency of an aggregate spread relies on the constant production of all its equipment – when one element fails, it brings the entire operation to a halt. Getting your equipment back up and running is paramount to profitability. Road Machinery & Supplies Co. understands this, which is why it recently purchased a belt winder for its Savage warehouse. This addition allows RMS to purchase belting in bulk, giving it the ability to meet customer demand quicker and easier. "Conveyor belt sales have been growing over the past three years, and we were using third-party vendors to try and meet demand. However, we felt there was an opportunity to be more competitive if we had more product on-hand," said PSSR Manager Tom Burrows. "We analyzed the potential revenue and margin growth potential by seeking volume purchasing discounts and having belting in-house. Now we have the ability to deliver belting to our customers without relying
