RMS named Dealer of the Year by Epiroc


 

Road Machinery & Supplies Co. was named Dealer of the Year by Epiroc for its performance in 2021.

 

"We have a great relationship with Epiroc, and we are proud to carry and service its products," said Vice President Sales & Marketing Andy Schwandt. "Being named Dealer of the Year is a great accomplishment, and it shows that we are succeeding at being a trusted partner to our customers and manufacturers. It also shows that we are providing the equipment, support, and technology solutions that enable our customers to build infrastructure and industries in the communities we serve. This is a very big accomplishment for our entire organization. A big 'thank you' goes out to everyone involved."

 

Road Machinery & Supplies Co. was the only distributor in the country to receive the honor. Some of the 2021 highlights for RMS and Epiroc include:

  • 56% increase in revenue growth from 2020
  • Doubled year-over-year consumables sales
  • Extensive Epiroc training
  • Completed RigScan target
  • Achieved Gold Level status for Parts Incentive Rebate

RMS Delivers PC7000 Komatsu Excavator

RMS recently delivered a Komatsu PC7000-6 hydraulic excavator to one of our taconite mining customers in Northern Minnesota. The machine weighs 1,530,300 Ibs, features a 46-cubic yard bucket and is powered by Cummins 1,675 HP twin engines. The machine was delivered in 34 semi-truck loads (3 of these being super loads). Ben Schmidtlein promoted to Vice President of Aggregate

    Ben Schmidtlein has been named Vice President of Aggregate for Road Machinery & Supplies Co. Schmidtlein joined the company in early 2020 and has been instrumental in guiding nearly four years of steady, substantial growth in aggregate sales and support for Road Machinery & Supplies Co.   Under Ben’s direction, RMS has built a dedicated Aggregate Division with a focused sales and support team. In 2022, RMS purchased Pit & Quarry Supplies Co., which provides competitive aftermarket parts options for customers and added a dedicated warehouse in Savage for aggregate products.
