Road Machinery & Supplies Co. (RMS) announced today that the company has begun construction of the new state-of-the-art parts, sales, service and rental operations facility that will serve the greater Cedar Rapids area. This 22,500-square foot project is expected to be completed in the summer of 2020. All current employees will transfer to the new location at that time. Conveniently located just off the I-380 corridor, the new facility will be accessible by either Wright Brothers Blvd to the north, or 120th Street to the south. The building will feature 10 service bays, including an over-sized drive through bay that will accommodate large aggregate equipment. Road Machinery & Supplies Co. (RMS) announced plans to build a new, state-of-the-art branch in Bondurant, Iowa. The facility will handle parts, sales, service and rental operations for customers in the Des Moines area and much of central Iowa. “We are excited about this expansion, which will allow us to better serve our customers in Des Moines and surrounding areas,” said RMS CEO Mike Sill II. The 25,000-square-foot building will feature 10 service bays, including an oversized bay to accommodate large aggregate equipment as well as work space for the branch’s 35 employees.
