RMS Tritec Completes Aggregate System Project for Cemstone

  



RMS Tritec recently partnered with Cemstone at their Midway Plant to deliver an end-to-end aggregate handling solution, executed on a tight timeline and spanning multiple phases of design, fabrication, and installation support.

Kicking off during the holiday season and completed in March, the project reflects RMS Tritec’s ability to take on complex work and deliver with speed, precision, and coordination.

From concept to completion, the team:

·       Developed detailed print sets and engineered layouts

·       Fabricated and assembled custom bin structure

·       Delivered a finished product that will significantly reduce future maintenance expenses

·       Executed a time-sensitive fabrication of custom chutes designed to efficiently divide material from conveyors into a 360-degree rotating turn head, allowing aggregates to be directed exactly where needed.

To keep the project on pace, RMS Tritec supported the effort by cutting and preparing steel for upper bin extensions, demonstrating the strength of Road Machinery & Supply Companies’ integrated Family of Companies approach.

This project required coordination, adaptability, and a deep understanding of aggregate operations. The result is a system designed to improve material flow, efficiency, and reduce future maintenance expenses for the Cemstone Midway Plant.

  Dan Olson has joined RMS as Aggregate Division Manager, the position previously held by current Vice President of Sales Ben Schmidtlein.   Dan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this role, having spent his entire career in the construction equipment industry. RMS Delivers PC7000 Komatsu Excavator

RMS recently delivered a Komatsu PC7000-6 hydraulic excavator to one of our taconite mining customers in Northern Minnesota. The machine weighs 1,530,300 Ibs, features a 46-cubic yard bucket and is powered by Cummins 1,675 HP twin engines. The machine was delivered in 34 semi-truck loads (3 of these being super loads).
