Heavy Equipment Adventure

Road Machinery & Supplies Co. hosted a Heavy Equipment Adventure at Extreme Sandbox in Hastings, MN. The event, organized by NDSCS, gave Twin Cities metro high school students information about careers in diesel technology.

During the event, students engaged in hands-on activities, spoke with RMS technicians and operated Komatsu excavators and dozers.

RMS representatives were on site to answer questions about the industry, career opportunities, and the Komatsu Diesel Technology Program offered through the North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS).

This fast-paced program combines state-of-the-art, on-campus training with 24 weeks of paid internships at a sponsoring Komatsu dealership. Students receive technical training on Komatsu equipment through a combination of classroom and hands-on laboratory instruction. Each sponsored student has guaranteed job placement and can earn up to 100% of tuition and fees reimbursed over the first three years of employment.
